A New Chapter for the Superliterate Project!

We’re thrilled to announce the opening of our new Comic Book Culture Shop! Thanks to the generosity of comic book fans, collectors, and supporters, our shelves are filling up with $1 comics, donated action figures, graphic novels, and other pop culture treasures. Every purchase helps support the Superliterate Project’s mission of getting more people excited about reading through the incredible world of comics.

Our shop is more than a comic store—it’s part of a growing community effort to make reading fun and accessible. Whether you’re a longtime collector searching for a missing issue, introducing a young reader to their very first superhero, or simply enjoying a nostalgic trip through comic history, we hope you’ll stop by and see what has arrived. Every donation helps us create an affordable place where stories can inspire the next generation of readers.

We’re also excited about what’s coming next. As soon as we can, we’ll be launching a YouTube channel along with regular social media features showcasing every donated collection and every review copy sent to us by publishers, creators, and supporters. For larger collections that aren’t practical to ship, we’re happy to arrange pickup or accept drop-offs at our Comic Book Culture Shop, 58000 Twentynine Palms Highway, Yucca Valley, CA, next to Stater Bros. near Tractor Supply. Together, we’re proving that comics make reading fun—and readers change lives.
